LOCHWINNOCH WRITERS is a young but vigorous group of all sorts of established and beginning writers. We meet weekly in the village library on Mondays from 9.30 - 11.30am. This website will provide samples of our current work, information about joining the group, useful links, and who knows what else.

Lochwinnoch is an attractive lochside village about 15 miles south-west of Glasgow, within easy reach of the glorious scenery of the Firth of Clyde as well as Scotland's largest, liveliest city. There is a very good fish-and-chip shop.

http://flickr.com/photos/scofo76/ will take you to a wide range of beautiful pictures by local photographer SCOTT FOY which will give you a real appreciation of the sometimes underestimated delights of the Renfrewshire countryside. This is a Flickr page and the Muirshiel and Castle Semple album is on the left of the page - but all Scott's photos tend to be brilliant and we thank him for allowing us to include them on our site.
